Vía Romana and the Solidarity Initiative with the Chantada Cancer Association

A toast to hope: Vía Romana Do Camiño Rosado supports the fight against cancer with every bottle sold.
05 February 2025

Last Tuesday, February 4, coinciding with World Cancer Day, Vía Romana had the honor of making a meaningful donation to the Chantada Cancer Association. On this occasion, we presented a total of €1,000, raised from the sale of our 2020 and 2021 vintages of Vía Romana Do Camiño Rosado. This wine, produced in a limited quantity of 1,000 liters per year, represents not only the quality of our vineyards but also our commitment to the community.

The initiative of donating €1 for every bottle sold began in 2018, when we launched the 2017 vintage. At that time, we became aware of the crucial work carried out by the Chantada Cancer Association, which had already become a fundamental pillar for many people in our community. Over time, we have watched their initiatives grow stronger, and we could not be happier to have started this collaboration.

Vía Romana Do Camiño Rosado is not only a wine that delights the palate—it also carries a message of hope and solidarity. Every bottle represents a step forward in the fight against cancer, and every sip is a reminder that together we can make a difference.

We are deeply grateful for the support we have received from our customers. By choosing our wine, they are not only enjoying its excellent taste but also contributing to a meaningful cause. This union between the quality of our product and our social commitment is what motivates us to keep moving forward. With each new vintage, we hope to increase our contribution and help even more people in need.

At Vía Romana, we firmly believe that wine is much more than a drink—it is a vehicle for connection, awareness, and community support. We thank everyone who has been part of this initiative and invite you to continue enjoying Vía Romana Do Camiño Rosado.
